Standard Tariff Editing mode

Standard Tariff editing mode was first introduced in Jomres 9.23.0

This tariff editing mode is a modification of the Micromanage tariff editing mode. It adds some new settings, and removes some settings that are no longer required.

The purpose of this change is to give users who are familiar with the booking.com style of tariff editing a more familiar user interface to work with.

The major new change you may notice is that this tariff editing mode doesn't allow you to create more than one tariff for each room type. Instead the goal is to make it so that you only need to edit tariffs for each room type in one place.

There is a new setting in Jomres Site Configuration > Portal functionality tab called "Force Compatability property configuration mode?"  By default all new installations in Jomres will have this option set to Yes. Updated installations will have this option set to No. Updating site managers can themselves decide if this option is enabled. If it is then all newly created properties will automatically have their tariff editing mode set to Standard and they will not have the option to switch to any other tariff mode.

When a property uses Standard tariff editing mode then many of the options previously visible in Property Configuration are no longer visible. There are also new menu options in the Settings area called Child Policies (for setting child prices) and Occupancy Levels.
