The new Jomres Documentation, updated in 2022, can be found at Jomres.net/documentation.
Core plugins are plugins that are offered as extras to Jomres. They can modify the basic functionality of the system, or add new functionality.
Jomres is a toolkit for building great booking websites. All of these plugins are intended to be used to build your own, unique site, rather than just a cookie cutter version of the Jomres demo. We recommend that you experiement with different layouts to see what suits you best.
All core plugins are offered as a download via the Jomres Plugin Manager.
When plugins are installed they are installed to the /jomres/core-plugins directory. Plugins are only ever supplied with an English language file, in a sub-directory off the remote plugins directory, so for example if you've installed the Jintour plugin, then the language file will be /jomres/core-plugins/jintour/language/en-GB.php. The same goes for any template files. If you want a new language file for the plugin, you can create a new file in that directory, so if you want to translate the plugin to German you'd copy en-GB.php to /jomres/core-plugins/jintour/language/de-DE.php and then translate the contents of that file.
Most plugins are CMS agnositic, IE they are not dependant on the CMS you're installed upon, instead they'll purely modify or add to Jomres' own functionality. A few are CMS Specific, if you don't see a specific plugin then it's probably not available for your choice of CMS.
Note : Some plugins are marked "Recommended plugin". These are plugins that are usually added to a standard installation of Jomres.
Note : not all plugins work with each other, so please don't just install all of the plugins in the hope that they will become useful later.
How to install a Jomres Module into Joomla.
Most plugins do not require this, however the handful of Joomla specific plugins will require that you use the discover feature.
