Compatability property configuration mode is a new option in Jomres after v9.23.0 and can be found in the Administrator > Jomres > Settings > Site Configuration > Portal functionality tab.
This option was introduced alongside the new Standard tariff editing mode. Standard tariff editing is designed to make configuration of prices easier by property managers, so when it is enabled, besides there being a simplified interface for inputting prices, and new Extra Guests and Child Policies settings a variety of options in Property Configuration are hidden.
After v9.23.0 new installations of Jomres have the Compatability mode enabled. When it is enabled, property managers cannot switch tariff editing mode, their only option is Standard. Installations which are updated from previous versions by default have this option set off, it’s up to Site Managers to decide if they want to force their users to adopt Standard tariff editing mode.
